'Mediocrity is self-inflicted, genius is self-bestowed'. (by Walter
Russell)
The Genius Lab is a playground for exploring the genius around you and
inspiring the genius within you', says Claire Janisch and Amanda
Gifford. Fall in love again with the genius of nature, the magic of
music, art, maths and science and find the patterns of genius that
emerge in you. Experience the healing power of play - opportunities to
entangle with new ideas in your life. Understand ways to live your
dreams and understand the science that takes you there. Experience a
personal development and transformation journey that will change the
course of your life.
You are invited to join the Genius Lab workshops with a focus on growing
your ability to imagine a wonderful future, creating an abundant and
stimulating 2007 and stretching your mind to around future fantastic
sciences.
At some of the most creative times in history, great minds were
stimulated by learning the great arts, great sciences, exploring nature.
These workshops have been designed to inspire your own creative
imagination, with a specific focus on your life this year. As Ervin
Laszlo says, 'The future is not to be predicted but created.'
Amanda Gifford is one of the co-creators of the Genius Lab and is one of
seven qualified Drama Therapists in the country. She completed her
Masters in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral in San
Francisco in 2003 (www.ciis.edu). Amanda's work is an empowering
combination of drama therapy methods including self revelatory theatre,
developmental transformations, family constellations, psychodrama, mask
work, embodied learning practices, and the science of conscious
transformation through active imagination work.
Amanda writes: 'From my perspective the Genius Lab is a place, a
platform from which I can do my best work. I had a dream in San
Francisco about four years ago, that I would be running a workshop with
a woman where we would focus on simple concepts in quantum physics in an
experimental workshop type setting. This dream has come true in the
birth of The Genius Lab in partnership with Claire Jansich. I have
striven over the years since being introduced to quantum physics,
quantum entanglement, neurobiology through Ramtha's School of
Enlightenment, to find ways to integrate it into my work. I have finally
come closer to my full expression through my collaboration with Claire
in the Genius Lab. Our workshops are a combination extraordinary
presentation on nature, ancient wisdom, modern science and new
technologies and the concept of hope emerging in your view of the
future, as well as theatrical skills, playfulness, intention, masks, and
music to engage personal legend and story, plus imagineering and the use
of magical stories and the latest research in science related to self
mastery.
With the fabulous elsewhere mind of a great wizard scientist such as
Claire and the creative genius and playful mind of Amanda, we have a
great team and are growing to include Imagineer , singer and songwriter,
Oran Cohen and children stories author and poet Julie Beattie. The
Genius Lab is as the right place for those who want a stimulating place
for learning the connections between the arts, sciences, psychologies,
and philosophies, while exploring the nature of the universe and
engaging the dialogues of quantum physics and how we create our own
reality.
The workshops we are offering at the Genius Lab, create an environment
for outrageous and radical thoughts and ideas as a springboard for
co-creation. "I think that our minds need a platform to be radical in,
to regenerate. We are naturally geniuses and we have propensity for
fantastic thought. We can birth the future fantastic, we just need an
incubator for its survival," Says Amanda.
Amanda was inspired by Claire's fabulous and inspiring presentation on
patterns in nature, sacred geometry and the sciences of abundance
leading to the study of hope for the environment. Claire is an
independent sustainability consultant who has worked on a vast array of
projects over the past six years for industry, commerce, agriculture,
government and communities. Her work focus is training and capacity
building and developing policy, strategies and new projects to enable
sustainable development on a broader scale in Southern Africa. She
specialises in 'whole systems' thinking and integration of ideas across
disciplines in developing sustainable solutions.
Recently, Claire, looking at the state of the environment and seeing a
pattern of destruction, doom and gloom, decided to rethink her approach
to her work. Through her studies at Ramtha's School of Enlightenment,
she has learnt about the role of the observer in quantum physics. She
decided to integrate the principles of quantum physics into her work. If
the observer collapses reality, then what part of our observation is
collapsing such gloom and doom? Is there a place of understanding which
will allow us to collapse a new reality for the environment that is
wonderful and hopeful for the future?
She put together a presentation of all the evidence - from ancient to
modern - of an alternative view that offers far more hope for our
future, than conventional science and understanding does. 'I found that
the patterns all around us in the universe point us clearly to a way
that could lead us to a future of abundance in harmony with nature. When
we observe that pattern, then we can start to see unlimited
possibilities for transforming our world, ourselves and our future,'
Claire says.
The idea behind Quantum Physics is that the observer has an effect on
reality, and collapses reality from a wave function to a particle by its
act of observation. We, the observers, are 'quantumly' entangled with
the universe. We cannot get away from it. Everything we do and say
affects the all. The quantum world is the world of the tiny and the
invisible, but it is springs from the zero point field on which all
realities get formed and arranged according to our minds. This is
important to begin to grapple with, to understand the science behind, to
begin the new dialogues of our thoughts, our minds, our observations
affecting the nature of reality because where else can we find hope for
changing the direction of our lives and the future of our planet.
The principle behind Genius Lab is that if we are observing ourselves as
geniuses, thinking as geniuses, it will affect your brain which is
connected to the quantum field through thought. For those interested in
reading up on the work of Nancy Klein, she writes about this in her book
'Time to Think!', asserting that the best way to help people to think
most effectively and productively is to observe and think about them as
geniuses as they think for themselves.
There is some fabulous research by the leading voice in new biology,
Bruce Lipton PhD which has shown that the signal from the environment
affects the genes. This is important because if you would like to change
the reality in which you are living, if you would like to have an effect
on your environment, you can. You have to change your thoughts which are
the primary signal to the gene. If you can adequately change your
thoughts about a particular state of being, you can affect your genes. (

According to Amanda, the use of Drama Therapy in the Genius Lab is to
engage your imaginary world which is primary to a person's reality, to
offer people creative ways to explore new thoughts and models of
reality, dream bigger and wider with more wonder again, with the
astonishing sciences of the moment, to inspire people to create new and
fabulous futures! Within the context of Amanda's drama therapy work, a
person engages their "Four Mighty Ones" (Seedtime and Harvest written by
author, actor and mystic, Neville Goddard). These are all aspects of
your mind. Through active imagination, you can consciously create your
own reality and engage in being in the end act of your current dream.
The application of drama is a way for the person to imagine, to engage,
to envision, to embody, to write the script of and produce the play of
their life.
And like the butterfly effect, everything is changed by a butterfly
flapping its wings, sometimes the smallest things, even those that are
sometimes too small to notice at first, with time, becomes larger and
the change becomes noticeable with time.
This programme is an opportunity to master some of the fascinating
magical science of the future. It's the science that creeps back into
your heart, it's the physics of who you are. It's the science that is
filled with the enchantment and mystery of you. It's an intro to all
those who grapple with this new understanding of their relationship to
the nature of reality. Genius Lab, as a wizard-wannabe, is the perfect
place to practice this magic. You don't have to be a genius to join in
but you will definitely leave as one.
