Your Weekly Goddess Oracle Card Reading - Goddess Nemetona

After an exciting week in Johannesburg it is good to return to the Eastern Cape and, once again, be amongst my family and friends. I really enjoy visiting JHB, the energies are vibrant, the people very open and warm, and there is always something exciting happening.  This time, I experienced a surprise visit from Archangel Michael.

With the Equinox just behind us we are now offered the opportunity to move forward in to new realities and create afresh, in other words, connect with our hearts and initiate whatever is in alignment with our passions.  And, if we are unsure about our passions, we just do whatever feels good and whatever we really enjoy. It’s that simple!                

According to Karen Bishop’s latest Wings of July 22nd “With every equinox, there is an opportunity to move forward, and also an opportunity for great light and manifestation. The recent equinox of September 22 has served to move us into our new reality and new spaces more than ever. As we are now ready and prepared for the new in all ways (even after all the twists and turns and the new restructuring of the hierarchies!), the equinox then, will greatly assist”.  During our Equinox Labyrinth Walk we underwent a “cutting the ties that bind us” experience, which has helped to further release our limitations to the past, and facilitate embracing the new, in a smoother and more effortless manner. This freedom, together with the very loving and co-operative energies highlighted by the sun in Libra, may assist us to dance gracefully with the changes that are part of our accession process. There is no doubt about this week’s reading, as Goddess Nemetona literally jumped out of the pack and landed at my feet.  I often connect with her energies, especially when walking the labyrinth in my garden named in her honor, but this time her message seemed more forceful than normal and was very clear; “When you pray in a sacred power place, you join in a simultaneous reality with ancient rituals being currently performed in a parallel dimension.  Prayers for increased power, psychic abilities, and manifesting abilities join with ancient tribal dances and sacred-rite prayers.” (Archangels and Ascended Masters by Doreen Virtue) So, when we begin any type of ritual or ceremony, especially any activities involving labyrinths, sacred sites and power places, we may call upon Nemetona to clear our space and help us to connect to the energy of the ancients, and simultaneously tap into their primeval wisdom.  We make our connection to Nemetona, who always holds the energy of those who have gone before us (including all their prayers), and experience the merging of the past, present and future, in the very sacred and safe, “now” moment. In the new energy, in which we currently reside, “linear time” is no longer relevant, as we exist in the “now” (a combination of past, present and future) and everything occurs simultaneously.  I think that it has always been this way; it’s just that we chose to experience the consciousness of linear time, and with duality, this has been a very powerful illusion, and, in some instances, still is.   I often use in my workshops the analogy of a train travelling along a railway track: in linear time or the “old energy”, it is travelling in a straight line, from the past, into the present and then the future, whereas in the “new energy”, it travels along a circular track, not unlike a labyrinth, and, at any point on the circle, it is always moving in the perfect blend of past, future and present “now moment”, which, in reality, is the only time that exists!               

Various Meanings of this Card: Build an altar in your home: Take a spiritually orientated trip: You need a quiet place of refuge and retreat for yourself: Create a medicine circle or labyrinth: Walk the labyrinth: Clear the energy in your home with sage, prayer, toning, invoking Archangel Michael, or other space-clearing methods: So, this week, call upon Goddess Nemetona’s assistance to connect with the spiritual grace of the old ways, and in doing so, we may help our inner sanctity discover a sacred home in the outer world!  I wish you a wonderful week and may you be blessed with the courage to flow with the changes that are presented to you.
